I am a former teacher turned pre & postnatal fitness specialist due to my own experience with pregnancy and postpartum.
My first pregnancy resulted in miscarriage, and I somehow believed it was my fault. I had always used exercise as an outlet for my stress and a form of self-care, but I was so fearful of losing another baby that I stopped exercising altogether. I felt terrible, had complications, and dealt with postpartum depression.
Fast forward to my third pregnancy, I exercised consistently and felt physically and mentally strong. I was determined to continue exercising, so I could be the best version of myself. I decided to get educated and certified in pre & postnatal exercise to safely continue my active lifestyle.
The more I learned, the more I wanted to share! I felt like it was information that ALL women should know to feel their best during pregnancy.
After I became certified, I wanted to create a pregnancy-safe strength training program for women who enjoyed lifting, something that really wasn’t on the market. After I had my third son and used my prenatal guide, I could not believe the difference in my postpartum recoveries. Prenatal exercise made a world of difference in the enjoyment of my pregnancy and my postpartum recovery.
